Curriculum Vitae

Born on December 9th, 1992, in Thessaloniki, Greece, Pandora moved to Ioannina to attend her undergraduate studies at the University of Ioannina (Department of Primary Education), which she completed with the grade "Excellent". She was then awarded the State Scholarships Foundation (I.K.Y.) scholarship and within the European mobility program "Erasmus+" she took her first steps towards teaching at the European School of Munich (Europäische Schule München). Towards the end of 2015, she started two-year postgraduate-studies in Rethymno. She received her Master's degree in Education from the department of Preschool Education of the University of Crete, achieving the grade "Excellent." Her postgraduate studies were awarded a Scholarship of Excellence by the Research and Management Committee of the Special Account for Research Funds of the University of Crete. Since 2019 she has been a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Preschool Education of the Faculty of Education of the University of Crete and also performing her teaching duties as a Deputy Primary Education Teacher at the Greek Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs. The Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (HFRI) evaluated her PhD thesis proposal as the second highest scoring PhD thesis in the scientific area of "Social Sciences" in the framework of the third call for PhD scholarships.

She has published several articles in international scientific journals and has presented several papers at prestigious greek and international scientific conferences. Her research interests include science teaching and learning in preschool and primary school education, STEAM education, mobile learning, and the instructional transformation of nanotechnology concepts and the philosophy of technology. She has a good command of English and German, excellent knowledge of computer operation, multimedia technology, and the internet, as well as strategies for integrating Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) into the educational process. Since 2019 she has been a member of the Hellenic Scientific Association for Information & Communication Technologies in Education (ETPE), as well as the International Society of Cultural-Historical and Activity Research [ISCAR]). In addition, since 2020, she has been a member of the Association for Science and Technology Education (ENEPHET.), as well as the European Science Education Research Association [ESERA]).
